The story is how many stories go nowadays - Ankit and Parini matched online, both completely oblivious to the late night conversations and sleep deprivation to come. While Ankit was looking for love, Parini had just moved to Chicago, IL that DAY and was just looking for some entertainment, six hours later, both got off the phone knowing their lives would never be the same again.

Most nights after that initial conversation, ended with the pair going to bed around 2..3..A.M. with phone batteries drained. It was safe to say, an immediate and beautiful connection was made. Parini and Ankit bonded over their wanderlust and obsession with puppies while debating over who was the superior Harry Potter fan - Spoiler Alert: It was Parini.

After a few weeks of talking, Ankit traveled to Chicago to meet Parini and have their first date downtown over Ankit’s favorite food - pizza. The connection they formed over the phone seamlessly transitioning to real life. Conversations of what their favorite food was quickly turned into conversations of when to meet each other’s families.

Fast forward a year, Ankit proposed to Parini when they took their first solo trip to Greece in October ’23. Ankit planned a private sunset boat ride in Santorini where they promised to be each other’s happily ever after.

And now, in January ’25, Ankit and Parini are making good on that promise in front of their friends and family in the beautiful city of Udaipur.
